The first image uses four of Obsidian Dawn's cloud brushes to paint faint white clouds on the four corners of the image. I wanted to give the impression that there were clouds were in front of her, but I did not want the clouds to obscure her very much. Each cloud was drawn on its own separate layer so it could manipulate it independently from the others. I also used one of their lightning brushes:
