An Interesting Retouch for Studio Glamour - Part 4

Presented here is the finished image of Andrelica. She has been retouched and the grey seamless paper background masked out. Three color layers were placed behind her in Photoshop:

The base layer behind her is pink.

A blank layer was created above the pink layer. The Ellipitical Marquee Tool was used to draw an oval large enough to cover Andrelica. This was filled with yellow, then Free Transform was used to tilt it and position it behind her. A 1,000 pixel Gaussian blur was applied, and the layer opacity dropped to 70%.

Finally, another blank layer was added above the yellow layer. The Elliptical Marquee Tool was again used, this time to draw a circle behind Andrelica's head by Shift-dragging. It was filled with blue, and Free Transform was used to size and position it. Another 1,000 pixel Gaussian blur was applied, and the layer opacity was left at 100%.
